Managing organization skills

From the Organization view, you can visualize the skills of all members of your organization by clicking 'Skills' in the left-hand menu (the number following 'Skills' in the menu is the total number of skills of learners in your organization) and also approve personal skills.

Visualizing Organization Skills

The visualization has three tabs:

In each tab, each 'bubble' represent a skill, and the size of the bubble shows how many organization members have the skill. You can see the skill name of a bubble by mousing over the bubble, or you can display skill names for all bubbles using the 'Show skill names' toggle button. The location of the bubbles is based on a machine learning algorithm that aims to locate bubbles for related skills near to each other.

To display the names of organization members who have a particular skill, just click on the bubble. The letters after the names show the current or target skill level ('B' = beginner, 'I' = intermediate, 'A' = advanced and 'E' = expert).

Approving Personal Skills

From the organization skills page, you can also click 'Review submitted skills' to approve or reject personal skills that have been added by members of your organization. If you approve a personal skill, it becomes visible and usable by other members of the organization. If you reject a personal skill, the individual user who requested it can continue to use the skill, but others cannot.
