What are skill levels?

LearnerShape currently uses the following levels for skills:

• beginner - limited knowledge; not at level for regular use at work

• intermediate - solid basic knowledge; appropriate for non-specialist work

• advanced - strong knowledge; core job qualification

• expert - better than most advanced practitioners; able to teach the skill.

In addition to skill levels, you have the option to show that you have a specific certification, by tagging the certification as a current skill so it appears on your LearnerShape graph.

In the future, we plan to introduce additional ways of measuring skill levels.
