What is a skills graph?

A 'skills graph' is a hierarchical data structure in which skills are organized. For example, the most general level of a skills graph might include broad areas of knowledge like 'mathematics' or 'information technology'. Things get more specific at each level of the graph. For example, sub-categories of 'mathematics' could be 'algebra', 'calculus' and 'statistics'.

A key feature of LearnerShape is that each organization can have its own skills graph.
