The Learning Pathways feature (at the bottom of the My Courses page) allows you to save and share sequences of courses that teach one or more skills.
Creating Pathways. The steps to create a learning pathway are:
Click 'Create new pathway'
Provide a pathway name and description
Tick 'Public (world)' and/or 'Public (your organization)' if you wish - see 'Sharing Pathways' below for more details
Click 'Save'
On the Pathway page that appears, add as many courses as you like, using the same tools as for adding courses on the My Courses page -- you can change the order of your courses by dragging them with the four-direction arrow icon, or delete unwanted courses with the trash icon
Choose a target profile containing the skills that the pathway will teach, using the same tools for setting a target profile on the My Courses page
When finished, return to 'My Courses' using the link at the top of the pathway page, or use the left-hand menu to visit another page.
You can continue to edit the pathway later by clicking on its name in the 'Your pathways' section of the Learning Pathways area.
Viewing and Following Pathways. Pathways are listed in three categories in the Learning Pathways area of your My Courses page (see 'Sharing Pathways' below for more details):
Your pathways - visible only to you
Organization pathways - visible to anyone on your organization
Public pathways - visible to any user of LearnerShape.
A pathway can be included in more than one of these categories, or all of them.
You can view just the courses on a pathway by clicking 'See more' (click 'Hide' to hide the courses again), or a full expanded view of the pathway by clicking on its name. From the expanded view, you can:
add any course from the pathway to My Courses by clicking an 'Add to My Courses' button (or all of them by clicking 'Add all courses to My Courses')
edit the pathway if it's one that you created.
Copying, Editing, Renaming and Deleting Pathways.
You can copy any pathway by opening its full view (see above) and clicking on the copy icon at the top right corner. This creates a new pathway that you are able to edit, and which is private to you by default (see 'Sharing Pathways' below).
If you are the creator of a pathway (including by making a copy of someone else's pathway), you can:
edit the pathway (using the same tools explained under 'Creating Pathways' above)
rename the pathway by clicking the pencil icon at the top right corner
delete the pathway by clicking the trash icon at the top right corner.
Sharing Pathways. If you set the a pathway as 'Public (world)', it will be visible to all users of LearnerShape. If you set the a pathway as 'Public (your organization)', it will be visible to users in your organization (or all users of our free public version if you are a user of that version). Pathways not set as 'Public' are visible only to you.
