Getting started

The best way to get started with LearnerShape is our welcome tour:

As the tour explains, the key steps to get started are:

1. Set your skills - Go to the My Skills page (top icon on left-hand menu), and then Your Skills in the Skills Explorer. Click on 'Add skill' to start adding skills. Add as many skills as you want -- to tell LearnerShape who you are as a learner. See Adding and changing skills for more details.

2. Set your target profile - Go to Target Skills, also in the Skills Explorer on the My Skills page. Click on 'Change profile' to select from available profiles, or create a custom profile. See Setting your target profile for more details and options.

3. Choose courses - Now go to the My Courses page (second icon on left-hand menu). You can either click 'Course recommendations' to automatically select courses for your target skills, or click 'Add course' to show the Course Explorer and choose courses individually (as many as you like). Once you have selected courses, you can drag them onto the calendar. See Choosing and adding courses and Using the calendar for more details.

4. Learn! - You're all set up! You can take a course by clicking the 'Start' button on the course. See Taking courses for more details.
